S.T.E.P.S. is the professional business development program in Northern Colorado which gives small and home-based business owners a venue to gain support and implement what they already know while learning new strategies to help them work smarter. A membership-based group, S.T.E.P.S. meets the 2nd Wednesday over the lunch hour and is for businessmen and businesswomen. Visit to learn more and be prepared to be inspired! Leads Groups typically meet once a week or once a month.  Bring business cards, literature and be prepared to speak for 30-60 seconds about who you are, what business you’re representing, etc.  Leads Groups typically have a membership and guests are encouraged to become members once they see the additional benefits.  Leads Groups are exclusive so there is only one professional representing a particular profession – so make sure you RSVP.

The WDC is an umbrella organization (501c3 non-profit) to the Loveland Business Women’s Network, the Greeley Business Women’s Network, the Windsor Business Women’s Network, the Fort Collins Co-op, Business Women’s Network of Fort Collins and the Longmont Business Women’s Network.  Contact:  Susan Jewell-Klema, Executive Director, 686-2699

Some of the benefits of being a member of WDC (via joining one of the groups below as a member) and how it works as an umbrella organization:

  • If you become a member of one group you pay the member lunch rate at all of the groups. 

  • There is a WDC website at www.coloradotown.com 

  • There is an annual WDC directory with advertising opportunities, where a portion of the ad fees go back to the member’s networking group.

  • Members have the opportunity to participate in on-going WDC sponsored event opportunities such as showcases and educational events.
